How Many Drying Methods Does Desulfurization Gypsum Dryer Have?

Desulfurization gypsum dryer is mainly used for drying gypsum moisture content in 20%-40%. Died desulfurization gypsum can be used for making cement, plasterboard and other products. According to different heat transfer ways, desulfurization gypsum dryer has two drying methods: direct and indirect drying methods.

Air flow direct drying method

Air flow direct drying method is a gypsum drying technology researched and developed by our enterprise on the basis of "gas-solid Vortex" drying technology. This drying method has the following good characteristics: 1. desulfurization gypsum dryer can use many kinds of heat sources like flue gas, coal gas, steam or other hot air for energy conversion. 2. the structure of desulfurization gypsum dryer is compact. And the investment is low. All the parameters of the drying system have been test correct, so it has high reliability. 3. desulfurization gypsum dryer can slow burn with 1800C, and can also medium speed burn with 3000C, as well as quick calcine with 5800C. 4. desulfurization gypsum dryer has low energy consumption, which is no more than 350,000 kcal/t. 5. it can be used for producing dry gypsum and hemihydrate gypsum. When it used for producing dry gypsum, the temperature of the air is only 1200C. The low temperature flue gas of coal-fired power plants is enough.

Stream indirect drying method

Stream indirect drying method is a gypsum drying technology researched based on the power plant's energy and environmental requirements. This equipment can quickly remove the free water and crystalline water in two separating devices. It can be used to produce dihydrate gypsum, super grade gypsum and other good quality gypsum. This kind of desulfurization gypsum dryer is characterized by: 1. the heat transfer area of per unit volume is big. Its structure is compact. Its footprint is small. 2. Its heat utilization ratio is high. The energy consumption for drying a ton of wet gypsum is not more than 1t. 3. Using steam that is below 1.0MPa as heat source can meet the drying requirement. 4. Desulfurization gypsum dryer is designed with heat recycling device, which is a good device to reduce energy loss. 5. Have no secondary air dust pollution. The emissions meet state environmental protection requirements.
