PEY Series Hydraulic Jaw Crusher

PEY series hydraulic jaw crusher is a kind of compound pendulum type crusher with overload protective function. When crush the unbroken material, the load of machine will increase suddenly, the machine can automatic load-off instantly though hydraulic protection, therefore it avoids to impact the body of machine because of the sudden increasing load. It can be safely used in crushing work with material mixed extremely hard foreign material.

The machine consists of three major parts: compound pendulum type jaw crusher, hydraulic protection device and electric control cabinet.

Working principle:

After the bulk material enters the crushing cavity (composed of fixed tooth plate, swing tooth plate and side plate) from upper end (feed opening), the material will be discharged from discharging opening after being masticated by movable jaw plate.

The masticate function of movable jaw plate is produced by eccentric shaft which is driven by transmission part. Acting as crank of four bar mechanism, eccentric shaft drives the movable jaw plate which acts as connecting rods, and then drives the toggle plate which act as rocker to swing, movable jaw plate makes complicated swing movement which is good for crushing and discharging under the constraint of both ends.

Hydraulic system is the overload protection system of the machine, it can make the crusher to make evasive action under the condition of overload, which is realized by yielding toggle plate supporting oil cylinder. High pressure oil of hydraulic station enters the oil cylinder high pressure chamber from oil inlet opening, then forces the piston of oil cylinder extremely stretched out.

Piston supports the toggle plate through toggle plate pad. Under normal crushing condition, fixed oil pressure of hydraulic system is enough to make piston to offer steady support for toggle plate.

When the jaw plates crush unbroken material, toggle plate will deliver the peak-load to oil system through piston and make the oil pressure to rise above the set point rapidly.

Pressure transmitter in the system will send signals immediately, and open the path from oil cylinder to oil tank. Back chamber of oil cylinder will relieve pressure, movable jaw plate will largen output opening and discharge the unbroken material due to pull force of

 spring and self gravity. It is called "Iron through". When the troubleshooting action is finished, close the path between oil cylinder and oil tank, then open the return path from oil source to oil cylinder, the movable jaw plate will return to the settled size of output opening under the push of pressure oil, and crusher will come to normal working condition again automatically.
