The Force Analysis of the Jaw Crusher’s Mainframe

The jaw crusher’s mainframe bears the largest force in the production. I will introduce you the force analysis of the jaw crusher’s mainframe in the following parts to know the force sources, so that we can make the finite element analysis of the jaw crusher and improve its structure.

1. The pressure suffered by the fixed jaw plate from the materials. In the process of the production, most of the stones are in the middle of the crushing cavity, and there are few in its upper and lower part. So the fixed jaw plates of the crushing cavity’s upper and lower part bear little pressure, while the crushing cavity’s middle part bears a lot. And the total force suffered by the fixed jaw plate is equal to the maximum crushing force. One source of the force suffered by the mainframe is the pressure of the materials to the fixed jaw plate. Its direction is vertical to the fixed jaw plate.

2. The force of eccentric shaft to the rack. The force produced by the eccentric shaft to the mainframe is on the bearing block. The reaction force of the bearing block is on the edge of the bearing block in the form of nodal force, according to the relationship of the action and reaction.

3. The mainframe’s own gravity. The weight of the jaw crusher’s mainframe is usually very heavy. If we want to analyze the force of the mainframe, we usually analyze its gravity by adding vertical gravitational acceleration on the overall model.
