1. Regular shutdown

Regular shutdown is a way of maintenance to the jaw crusher. Because long time work will make the jaw crusher overload, and dome quick-wear parts may can not work normally because of overload. After shutdown jaw crusher, operators should inspect the center feeding tube, the impeller, the liner of the discharging tube, and other parts of the equipment. If find any parts severe worn, operators must repair or replace them immediately.

2. Check the driving belt

Driving belt is the indispensable device in the stone production line. The running of the jaw crusher owes to the driving belt. Regularly adjust the tightness of the driving belt and ensure that the driving belts can suffer uniform forces. If find the wear of the driving belt is too much, the operator must replace it.

3. The lubrication of jaw crusher

Replenish appropriate amount of lubricant for the jaw crusher every 400 hours’ work. When it has worked for 2000 hours, the amount of the lubricant in the bearing seat must be 50% to 70% of its volume. And replace the old lubricant once every 3-6 months. When you replace the old lubricant, you must firstly clean the raceway of the bearing with clean gasoline or kerosene. Besides, remember open the oil-hole when you wash the raceway. Generally replace the old bearing with a new one every 7200 hours.
