Single-stage hammer crusher is widely used for crushing construction waste. What advantages does the single-stage hammer crusher have in the process of the construction? Can it be replaced be other types of crushers? This article will tell you the answers and give you a specific explanation.
The crushing procedure is usually finished though several crushing stages. The first crushing stage is coarse crushing stage. It usually uses jaw crusher, and the secondary crushing stages usually uses impact crusher or hammer crusher. But the single-stage can be directly used for crushing raw materials without coarse crushing as the mobile crushing station. The construction waste is directly fed into the crushing chamber of the single-stage crusher and is crushed.
In fact, the hammer crusher can also do the single-stage crushing process, but there are many limitations on the raw materials that are needed to be crushed, for example, hammer crusher must not be used to crush hard materials. Although the construction waste is not hard, there may be rebar in it. And hammer crusher is not able to crush any little hard material. That is because the rebar may damage the hammer, and break the equipment. Besides, the single-stage crusher has a larger feeding port and bigger discharging port than the common crusher. And its crushing capacity is very strong, and can reach up to about 250t/h. For all above, the single-stage hammer crusher is usually used for processing construction waste.
