Industrial ball mill is mainly used for grinding all kinds of ores with different hardness into required size. It can be used in metallurgy, coal, chemical industry, cement products ceramic, and other industries. Due to the actual work of industrial ball mill is very complex, the main shaft of industrial ball mill is frequently damaged, which brings serious consequences for production. How to protect the main shaft of industrial ball mill from wearing? I will solve this question in the following parts.
If the main shaft is sworn, operators must repair it strictly according to the requirement order. The correct order is as follows: preheat the shaft before fixing, then weld it, and finally carry out the heat treatment after welding. Operators must specially pay attention to choose a correct heat treatment process, and strictly control the heating time and temperature of preheating and tempering in order to ensure good metallographic structure of the shaft and eliminate welding stress. In addition, to increase the abrasion resistance of the shaft’s neck, it must be quenched with high frequency and tempered with low temperature.
During the using process of industrial ball mill, operators must promptly adjust the inner ring of the shaft to make the cooperation of the shaft and bearing closer than before, so that the stress concentration can not increase because of the excessive interference fit.
Adjust the transition fillet at the shaft’s neck from <160 to < 180 to properly increase its radius and minimize the stress concentration. In addition, once the shaft of the industrial ball mill is worn, it must be repaired immediately. And when repair it, the transition fillet must be specially noticed.
